Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are a great method of quickly cleaning up mess. The best robot vacuums and mops that I test had superior navigation and mapping. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as tangled wires.
They're also simple to use using an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop with cutting-edge features take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This premium vacuum is quick and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface with a mini-map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.

Another notable characteristic of the S8 is its ability to change its cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with mopping pads that are damp.
It's got a host of other innovative features too, including an alternative dock that connects to your plumbing to wash and clean the mop without requiring you to refill it manually. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 you can make use of voice commands to specify the cleaning mode of your room and provide precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible options. It's one of the combo robot vacuums with mopping capabilities that are available at a lower cost than other models.
Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to start, including setting up an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, the robot can start vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process could take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets a good picture of your space. The object detection is also hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels that it had to flip over to get it out of the way. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an appliance that can do all of the above.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features a rotating motion like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned, not just being swept. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach spots even a robotic vacuum can't.
This model is nearly identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional features that are smart. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's surroundings and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The app's smart features allow you to customize a number of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads, empty the dust bins and place the debris into a self sealing bag. This keeps the system clean, and also stops allergens from circulating. And its battery longevity is sufficient to handle large spaces without the need for a recharge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with impressive features at affordable prices. It is equipped with an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets and a great obstacle-avoiding. It also features an unique mopping method that utilizes a roller continuously spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without falling. However, it had trouble with finely engrained debris and didn't always clear raised room thresholds. The operating level of the sound is also very high, which means this model might not be as simple to set and forget as other models.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with the regular schedule. Eufy's app lets you control all its functions. It gives you an easy overview and a variety of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums available on the market. It offers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with good accuracy, and the app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, create no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to stop hair from wrapping itself around it. This is a major problem with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system has intelligent carpet detectors, which lift these pads up when they are close to soft surfaces to avoid contamination.
The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free center for maintenance, automatically washing and drying the mops and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their bins of dust every time they have to be emptied.
6. S10
This robot is a few hundred dollars less than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my home office clean. It is also able to reach all corners of my small apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to build an outline of your home and knows where to stay away from. In addition, unlike other vacuums that can mop it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).
It also has some outstanding highlights, such as the self-emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can get to places that other mops don't. You can also customize the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. And, if you want to save time, it can skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy. If you have several types of flooring in your home and don't wish to spend more money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features, this is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can perform regular maintenance and touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a variety of features such as a self-emptying dustbin and a separate dock for refilling water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's extremely quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up knots in the rug and it drains its battery more quickly than other models we test.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that offers an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek. It didn't perform as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the much pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it performed very well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, from the low power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the incredibly powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to remove and reconnect its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in small spaces. It's extremely quick and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces well. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than the majority of its rivals, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has decent suction power and can be set to take pictures of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as "not located' so that they are not picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secure and not tied to your account.
It is capable of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them around your floor. Compare automatic hoover to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mophead.
