Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient way to quickly clean up mess. The best robot vacuums and mops that I test had superior mapping and navigation. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as wires that were strung up.
They're also user-friendly using an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and see what they're working on.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop combo with cutting-edge features take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This premium vacuum is quick and agile and was able to pick up human hair and pet hair almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that includes a miniature map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more often when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.
It has a variety of other features that are smart as well, including a different dock that connects to your home plumbing to wash and clean the mop without requiring you to refill it manually. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to set room cleaning modes and the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum that can mop the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It's part of a litany of robot vacuums that also feature mops but comes at a cheaper price than the majority of competitors.
Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This includes setting up an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, the robot can start cleaning and mopping easily.
It is important to note that the mapping process can take quite a while and it could take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection is also not perfect. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a rug with tassels and required a flip to release itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of a cleaning companion that does all of the above.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned, not just swept. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to get into places that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly increased suction power of 8,700Pa and a few additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home better and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to modify a range of settings, including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each job to wash their pads, empty their dust bins, and place debris into bags that self-seal. This helps to keep the system clean and prevents allergens from returning to the system. Its battery life is sufficient to remove large areas without the need for a charge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that offers impressive features at affordable prices. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for hard and carpet floors and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also features an innovative mopping system that uses a roller that is continuously filled with water to pick dirt and place it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. It struggled with small particles and did not always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating sound level is also high, so this model might not be as simple to set and forget as the other models.
Like many robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app. It provides a clear overview and plenty of configurability.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers and vacuums available, and it provides amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with reasonable accuracy. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones and modify their cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which can be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system incorporates smart carpet detectors, which lift these pads up when they're near soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station comes with an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, allowing for seven weeks of maintenance free operation.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8, this robot does an excellent job at keeping my home office clean and can also take on the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D model of your home so that it can know what to stay clear of. It has an object/obstacle detector that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not poop) unlike most vacuums.
Other amazing features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. robot vacuum cleaner reviews can also adjust the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
Like the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping, and can differentiate between laminate, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to save time. It's a great choice for those who have a variety of flooring in your home but don't want to spend the extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can do both regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups for messy water stains. It has a wide range of features like self-emptying dustbins and a separate water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It can't pick the tangled tassels of a rug and it drains its battery faster than other models we've test.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that provides powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it did extremely well overall. It has a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the more powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach the mop pads without causing your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used even in small spaces. It's quick and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces efficiently. It's also excellent in removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than many of its rivals however it doesn't compromise features. It has decent suction power and can be set to take pictures of every object it finds (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they won't be picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secure, and not tied to you account.
It is great at vacuuming, but it's not so well at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bot's bottom, and it essentially drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
